We are lucky enough to have access to a holiday home in West Wales and head there with the children as often as we can. We spend most our time at the beach but when the weather isn’t playing ball we have started exploring other activities in the area. The Welsh Wildlife Centre was a great morning out on a cloudy day. Here is the full review…
The Welsh Wildlife Centre is set in the Teifi Marsh Nature Reserve, just outside Cardigan.
Set in 264 Acres of Nature reserve you will find plenty to keep the little ones entertained. There is an adventure play area, buggy accessible nature trails, bird hides, a visitors centre and café.
Food & Drink
The café is located at the top of the visitors centre and has a great selection of food and drink to eat in or takeaway. Children’s picnic boxes are available for £3.50 and include a sandwich with choice of filling, Pombears & a drink. There are plenty of picnic benches around the reserve so bringing your own food is also an option.
