During LBC (Life before Children) I attended all sorts of fitness training, from PT sessions to Crossfit. Working out is something I enjoy, it benefits me both physically and mentally. It has also been the biggest lifestyle change I’ve made since having babies and I have to say I’ve missed it. So when Mission Fitness contacted me about their BuggyFit classes I was very excited to give them a go!
About Mission Fitness Cardiff
Mission Fitness Cardiff is a class based fitness studio in Heath, offering a variety of gym classes and 1:1 PT sessions. They have been running BuggyFit classes for 12 years and all instructors are qualified in pre and post natal fitness.
What is BuggyFit?
BuggyFit is ‘an outdoor exercise class where the babies remain in the buggy throughout. The class is a total body workout suitable for all levels of fitness.’
The sessions run 3 times a week, meeting twice in Roath Park and once at Llandaff Fields.
As well as offering a tough workout, BuggyFit is a great place to meet other mum’s! The vibe is super friendly and someone is always up for a coffee after class. This is especially great for us lockdown mum’s who couldn’t attend prenatal classes in person.
BuggyFit sessions last just 40 minutes and include a mix of cardio, bodyweight and banded exercises. The instructors will offer alternatives depending on your fitness level and make the class is a bit different each time. On a cold day I’m told you can expect to do a lot more cardio!
Timetable and Booking
BuggyFit classes can be booked in blocks of 10 at a cost of £55. All 10 sessions must be used within 12 weeks.
