Jump Cardiff Review

After seeing the rainy forecast for this weekend I spent the evening panic booking indoor activities. We decided to try Jump as it’s fairly local to us in North Cardiff and we hadn’t been there before. Booking online was easy and cost £7.25 for our family of 4 to attend a 2 hour session.

Jump is based inside a warehouse behind Ty Glas Shopping Park, Llanishen. There is free parking on site. The play centre is split into zones for babies, toddlers and older children. In addition to the usual soft play areas there is an inflatable assault course (for older children) and padded football area. There is also a café serving good coffee, hot & cold meals and snacks. Our son had the meal box for £3.60 which was good value.

The first thing I noticed was how friendly the staff are! I need paracetamol and a lie down after soft play so wouldn’t be surprised if the staff were less than enthusiastic! This wasn’t the case at all at Jump, they seemed genuinely happy to be there and were very helpful. The centre was clean and not as busy as others we have attended. Our 21 month old loved the toddler area and had a good go in the main soft play sections too. I usually worry about him being knocked over but as it was nice and quiet this wasn’t an issue.

Overall I would say Jump is the best soft play we have been to in Cardiff, we stayed for the full 2hr session and I’m now enjoying a hot cup of tea while both babies sleep!
